Friday, 11 December 2015. The Argentine people says goodbye to the 12 long years of Kirchner’s government this Thursday 10 December 2015, while Mauricio Macri formally receives his investiture as the new president of Argentina, after being elected last November 22 of this year. This investiture was symbolized in the moment in which the new president received the presidential sash and the baton, as required by the tradition of that country.

As expected, due to the political conflicts that have arisen; the now former president Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner was not present in the protocol act, being dismissed with tears last wednesday nine December 2015; after having ruled for eight years (2007-2015) and added the four that preceded her as first lady of her husband, Néstor Kirchner (2003-2007).
