When we talk about energy, we not only associate it with science, or with Albert Einstein and his scientific discoveries, although the theory of Relativity has a lot to do with the advances that have been made nowadays and also with the vision that we have on its handle, even for the prevention of health problems and general development of the individuals in the environment.

One of those ways of balancing these energies is through the chakras, which is a Sanskrit term meaning “wheels or discs”, and are centres that regulate the flow of our life energy, directly affecting the health of organs and tissues of our body, manifesting themselves as small eddies that feed the physical organs and at the same time are related to our thoughts, emotions and attitudes towards life.

Therefore, these chakras are considered as vortices of energies, which if rotate in an adequate manner, they manage to maintain the fundamental energy flow for the conservation of the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health of the person. The management of these vortices has been practiced for thousands of years by many healers in the East in order to restore people’s health; even in the last decades, alternative medicine has resorted to an energy system for the management of the chakras to address and treat many diseases and lay the foundations of healing.

This energy system manages the balance of the chakras as a source of vital energy, as well as thoughts and emotions that are a fundamental part of each individual, so if there are imbalances in them, physical and psychological diseases are usually manifested.

Hence the importance of carrying out a change in beliefs and fears, because if the vortices are blocked or unbalanced, they affect the mind, feelings, attitudes and therefore, physical health. In turn, these, as well as the negative energies of other people, of conflictive situations in the country or city where they live, among other sources that generate stress and imbalance, cause the imbalance of the chakras.

In this way, some situations cause inadequate movements of the chakras, making them rotate counter clockwise, a very little or too fast, a situation in which the person could suffer from psychological imbalances and physical illnesses in the organs or tissues related to that vortex where the blockage or imbalance occurs.

Consequently, the symptoms associated with each chakra must be known in order to be aware of the actions to be taken to try to balance them. Now, although it is known that there are other vortices or chakras, the seven main ones are generally, taken into account and which we will present a summary about that synthesizes their location, associated organs, symptoms and actions to follow to harmonize each chakra:

Chakra Number 1: It is called the root chakra, which is located at the base of the spine and is related to the adrenal glands that produce adrenaline, the essential hormone of our survival. When this chakra is balanced, the person feels sure of himself, but a blockage produces lack of life energy, problems with the bones, the hips, the blood and the immune system, which is extremely negative because this deficiency itself can produce lots of diseases.

It is also associated with the Chi of the kidney, emotions, anguish and fear, ruling the bones, hair and tissues. When it is blocked the individual tends to complain, to think that the world is dangerous, his hearing is affected and he also feels anguish, anxiety and excessive coldness.

In his Yang phase, inflexibility, self-centeredness, materialism and isolation appear, while in the Yin phase, fatigue and depression are manifested, as well as diseases of the skeleton, joints and central nervous system, such as Parkinson’s and multiple sclerosis, in addition to hearing and balance problems and with bladder and kidneys, problems with sexuality, among other physical manifestations.

Chakra Number 3: The third chakra represents solar plexus, so it is related to emotional life and is located between the navel and the base of the sternum, so it rules the following parts of the body: the pancreas, the liver, the stomach, the gallbladder and the small intestine.

On the other hand, when this chakra is unbalanced, there are attitudes of anger, fear and the need to control everything. It is represented by Chi of the liver associated with excitement and anger. In the Yang Phase, the person often feels unfairly attacked; he protests, resists others and has feelings of guilt and punishment. This chakra represents the problem of the Chi of the lungs associated with emotions and emotional grief.

In the Yang phase, the person feels that he is not able to keep up with changes, so he feels defeated easily. Chakra Number 6: It is the third eye, located above the eyebrows. It rules the pineal gland, eyes and brain. People who have too much energy in this vortex are often dogmatic and authoritarian. It is related to the inner vision of the individual and when it is blocked, it is associated with mental problems, and the negative attitude that prevails is that of preferring to be right to be happy. It is harmonized through meditation, spiritual retreats and contact with nature in different activities.

Chakra Number 7: Finally the seventh one is the crown chakra. When it is balanced, the person has a clear sense of the purpose of life and the connection with God, and if it is blocked, there is chronic exhaustion; epilepsy and Alzheimer’s disease are associated with this centre that can regulate any organ.

This chakra represents universal knowledge, role plays, identification and happiness. By knowing what your tendencies are in terms of your attitudes and physical ailments, you can address possible imbalances in your energy part. In this way, you should resort to the performance of physical exercises, meditations, music, mantras, colors and stones; they can help to balance your entire system. But, above all, a change in your attitude and in the vision you have of yourself and of life is what produces lasting healing.
