A current fashion trend is to wear sportswear, for any activity, apart from sports. Some years ago it was thought that to practice sports, loose and thick pants were necessary, which made the feminine figure dull. In addition, wearing sportswear without practicing sports represented carelessness with appearance.

However, the trend sets the tone, and that is why today it is common to wear sportswear for various activities that allow to look the figure and at the same time to be comfortable. Women are often seen wearing sportswear combined with jeans, t-shirts or denim jackets or even leather. That is why many sportswear brands have opted for the creation of women’s sportswear to be fashionable and at the same time comfortable.

In this sense Dhyana Van der Pols, head of innovation of the sportswear firm WFSGI, points out that at present comfort should not be confused with vanity, since it can be counterproductive when exercising, although she recognizes that personal appearance plays an important role in people’s self-esteem.

Among the accessories that complement the sports attire, we will find a variety of hair bands, wristbands and hats that will give a fashionable appearance. For a current style you can choose different hairstyles that clear your face like Dutch braids, in a headband or “boxer” type that are very convenient for sports. You can also choose the ballerina bun, which will allow you to exercise without losing style.

For women with wide hips, an excellent option to give proportion to their figure is to wear “tops” that leave shoulders exposed and generate the illusion that they are wider. If, on the other hand, your shoulders are very wide, wear neutral clothes at the top, with colors such as black, dark blue, brown and dark gray, which will remove visual weight. In this case, the garment on the bottom should be in a light color to stylize and give proportion to your body.

Depending on the sports activity you do, there are different materials for your clothes that you should consider. If you go to the gym choose comfortable, flexible and light clothing. For lighter activities, such as yoga and Pilates, wear cotton garments and for more intense exercise, wear synthetic materials, such as nylon, polyester or those made of fiber.

As for makeup, be sure to use products that do not clog your pores, although it is better to look natural, using a transparent mascara or if you prefer a waterproof one that will not be affected by sweat.

For a casual outfit, dress in layers, as this will allow you to adapt to different climates or stages of your activity, being able to take off your jacket and show off your top if the day is hot or choosing sport shorts for intense workouts. Today it is very easy to wear sportswear, look attractive and fashionable, highlighting your figure with basic, comfortable clothes and setting a trend.
