On many occasions, you will have heard about retrograde Mercury and how it affects everyone’s life. But do we really know about planets retrogression?, Surely not, that is why today we will explain a little about this topic, to better understand why and how it affects us directly.

Planets retrogression is the apparently retrograde movement carried out by some planets of the Solar System on the celestial vault, or on its own axis of rotation.

Venus, the second planet of the Solar System, has a rotation on its own axis contrary to the rest of the planets. The Earth rotates from west to east, but Venus does from east to west, thus it is said that it has a retrograde rotation.

In this sense, it must be clarified that it is not the same the retrogression of a personal planet (Mercury, Venus, Mars), than of a social or transpersonal planet (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto).

Planets such as Mars, Jupiter or Saturn, have wider orbits than our planet, thus, their orbital speeds are slower. At the moment when the Earth overtakes these planets, a visual effect of retrograde orbit is created, where, for example, seems Mars stops and begins to orbit in the opposite direction during a period of several months.

When a personal reactionary planet impacts us deeply, it is very likely that its effects will be felt, especially if it touches important points of our natal chart, or it is one of our dominant or ruling planets. It is important to be clear about what we should do and what not to do. So take note.

Retrograde Mercury remains for three weeks every three months. It is not recommended to sign contracts, establish important communications, schedule trips, negotiate things, buy electronics or technology devices, do job interviews, etc.

Venus retrogrades six weeks every year and it is not recommended to change look, spend large amounts of money, perform beauty treatments, get married, make sentimental decisions, and have a first date, among others. On the other hand, Mars retrogrades eleven weeks every 22 months (almost two years). It is not recommended to undergo any surgery, put on a piercing, get a tattoo, start a personal war, launch an entrepreneurship project and practice risky sports.

If it is a social or transpersonal planet that is retrograde, as is the case of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, it affects us in a much more subtle way, so the period often goes unnoticed. In fact, these planets experience retrograde movement for long during the year and what they invite us to is a reflection so that we can adjust the deep meaning of our lives.

Finally, all planets, except the Sun and the Moon, take retrograde marches throughout the year, and that is why they help us to become aware of those mechanisms that harm us or the gifts we have. Often we do not use them because they are so hidden from our consciousness that we do not realize that we possess them.
