The celebration of the magical Christmas spirit, has Nordic origins and dates back over 2,000 years old. Its principle is paramount and astronomical, was to commemorate the arrival of warmer days, when the winter solstice occurs and the earth is farthest from the sun.

The event is seen as the reverse of the solar presence in heaven, in its concept we can find the regression of December 25 set by the Julian calendar; when Pope Gregory XIII changed the calendar, placing the winter solstice on December 21, because the difference in days between the calendar year and the tropical year.
In the winter, famines were very common; therefore people should be prepared many months in advance. Therefore, all the emphasis placed when the solstice time came, putting all their faith to get out of those difficult periods.
In many parts of the world it is traditional to celebrate this date in different ways, especially with a ritual of thanksgiving for favors granted during the year; and also that the new desires are met in the coming months. Persons or family members should be grouped one hour after the entrance of the Christmas spirit around the table previously arranged with these implements, carrying in their requests written in a letter.
Should light candles and meditate deeply the wishes written on paper that should be written in order of priority, from highest to lowest.
